How much plastic is your washing machine sending out to sea?

This article by Ok, but how relevant is this? 100,000 people produce ca. 1.02 kilograms of fibers daily, i.e. about 359,7kg of plastic shreds every year.

Here’s is an interview (It’s absolutely time to panic about climate change by Vox) with the journalist and author of “The Uninhabitable Earth”, David Wallace-Wells, where he discusses that climate change and its societal implications.
Before he published his book (read an excerpt here) he wrote an alarming and controversial article in The New York Times: Doomsday.  You find lots of sources and further readings in the NYT article.
